What is a secure server?
A secure server allows the transmission and collection of sensitive information by encrypting the data when it moves between your computer and the server. You can tell if you are on a secure server by looking at the page's address in your browser. If it begins with https:// instead of http://, the connection is secure. Why is Resume Boutique not on a secure server? Contrary to many peoples' beliefs, only very small portions of an online store need to be on a secure server. Specifically, only the page that actually collects payment information, such as your credit card number, needs to have a secure connection. The Resume Boutique site does not collect any payment information, but instead uses PayPal to handle that aspect. As such, the Resume Boutique buying process is completely secure - you do not need to worry. NOTE: You DO NOT need a PayPal account to purchase items from our store. Privacy Policy The Resume Boutique respects your privacy. We do not distribute or reveal our customer's personal information. We will never disseminate your email address or contact information except if, and when, required by law.
